MAESOT BIBLICAL TRAINING CENTER, MAESOT, THAILAND |
ABOUT
US

Maesot Biblical Training Center exists to provide
training for men and women to perform various ministries upon graduating
from MBTC. These students come from surrounding areas in Thailand,
Burma and beyond. Many preachers have been trained at MBTC and are now
serving in churches in the mountains of Thailand, Burma, and other locations
proclaiming God's word and adding new converts to the kingdom everyday.
In a country that is 95% Buddhist, 4% Muslim with very
little Christian influence the work is important in order to gain a foothold
with the truth found in God's word. This is done by active
evangelistic efforts by Ezekiel Fish and other staff members and graduates
of MBTC. Some amazing results have been achieved with the Lisu and Lahu
tribes of Thailand and Burma. There are thousands of refuges living in
camps with living conditions far worse than seen in other areas of the
world. For many, there is little to no hope of receiving aid of any
type. Often the only aid many of these people ever see is from
visiting Missions Teams and the staff of MBTC.
Maesot Biblical Training Center also acts as a staging
area for visiting Missions Teams that come to provide humanitarian and
medical assistance in villages and camps as needed and directed by Ezekiel
Fish. Sometimes the purpose of a team visit is to provide medical
screening for Burmese refugees and other times it is to teach or preach at
MBTC or to help build new facilities as needed.
This is a constantly expanding ministry with a proven
need to provide the services offered and more. In the years to come it
is hoped that more preachers and teachers can be trained to work in some of
the remote areas of the region and that more willing people with needed
skills will come to offer their aid and expertise.
Other ongoing projects of MBTC include the
distribution of bibles printed for the Lisu and Lahu tribes of the area.
MBTC also distributes mosquito netting for families and other supplies when
available.
